Stacks presents two sets of documentary photographs reproduced as Risograph prints. Photographs of sound systems documented in the streets of London in the morning before first day of Notting Hill Carnival in August 2017, and photographs of abstract temporary clay sculptures documented in the artists studio in Helsinki in August 2018. Stacks highlights the similarities between the functional aesthetics of sound systems and visual language of modernist sculpture and brutalist architecture. Published as part of Timo Vaittinen’s solo exhibition 1-2-2-2-1-2-2 at Sinne, Helsinki, Finland.
